A million-pound work of art which appears to show Cara Delevingne surrounded by ecstasy tablets will go on display in London later this month.

The artist, Chemical X, has refused to confirm the identity of the model who posed for it. The figure bears a close resemblance to Delevingne, 25, down to the tattoos on her hands and feet.

Chemical X, whose real identity is unknown, makes works out of ecstasy pills manufactured in a private laboratory. His last show in London in 2013, with a purported £175,000-worth of pills incorporated into sculptures and panels, was cancelled after legal advice.

The new work, The Spirit Of Ecstasy, is valued at £1 million and the model appears to be suspended in a sea of pills. The muse is not named but is described in the artist’s press release as a “British model and actress who is a fan of Chemical X’s and already collects his work”.

The model’s likeness has been made out of silicone and fibreglass from a scan of her body and made in collaboration with digital artist Schoony. The hands and feet were cast from real life and the eyebrows inserted strand by strand.

It incorporates more than 7,000 pills and will be displayed at CX300 — a one-night show with 300 hand-picked guests from the world of film and music. Guests will only be told the venue on the day.

Cara Delevingne is headed to television.

The supermodel-turned-actress is set to star in Amazon’s upcoming drama series Carnival Row. The Suicide Squad star is joining recently announced Orlando Bloom in the eight-episode fantasy noir from Legendary Television. The project is set to begin filming this fall for a 2019 release on the streamer.

Carnival Row will feature mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population. At the center of the drama is the investigation into a string of unsolved murders, which are eating away at whatever uneasy peace still exists.

Delevingne will play Vignette Stonemoss, a faerish refugee who flees her war-torn homeland to come to the Burgue. There, she must contend not only with rampant human prejudice against her kind but with the secrets that have followed her to this new land.

First announced in May, the drama will be written and executive produced by Rene Echevarria (Star Trek). Paul McGuigan (Luke Cage) is set to direct and executive produce, along with Travis Beacham (Pacific Rim), who penned the original script, A Killing on Carnival Row, which appeared on The Black List in 2005. Bloom will serve as a producer on the project.

In 2012, Delevingne made her film debut in Joe Wright’s Anna Karenina. She went on to star in John Green’s Paper Towns and has appeared in Michael Winterbottom’s The Face of an Angel, Joe Wright’s Pan and Matthew Cullen’s London Fields.

More recently, Delevingne starred opposite Dane Dehaan in Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which proved to be a box-office disappointment. In addition to playing the villain in Suicide Squad, last year she also starred in Chris Foggin’s Kids in Love. Up next, she has Life in a Year opposite Jaden Smith set for a 2018 debut.

Delevingne is repped by WME and Sloane Offer.

Some people say Trump has been defying the constitution, but could he just have the wrong one?

Amber Heard, Cara Delevingne and Shailene Woodley think they’ve figure out why Donald Trump is making such controversial decisions!

In a new Funny or Die video, the trio jokingly reveal that they believe Donald has been mistakenly been using an “Alternate Constitution.”

Other celebs including Chloe Bennet, Lizzy Caplan, Susan Sarandon, Constance Wu, Matt McGorry and Jamie Chung join in to help explain.

“Historians confirmed the existence of another constitution. And it’s called the ‘Alternative Constitution.’ And Trump was accidentally given the only other copy when he was a teen. He’s working from the wrong constitution and he doesn’t even know it,” they joked.
